Owari~

So, that is the last of my Japan pictures. I saved my favorite for last - as you can see, I use it as my wallpaper currently. Thank you for putting up with my barrage of Japanese pictures, and we will now return to me submitting nothing but the occasional kitty picture.

Submission torrent~

I'll be submitting lots of pictures the next few days, the best of my Japan shots, so this is to warn you. To save you from being overwhelmed, they'll be divided by subject. Yesterday was 'Miscellaneous', and today is 'Osaka-jo' (Osaka Castle)!

Enjoy~

Heian Art~

To anyone that sees this after my super fav-spree: You have drawn Heian or Genji related art, and I adore you for it. You have made my esoteric fangirl heart flutter with intense happiness.
I cannot draw myself, but to see so many beautiful examples of my favorite historical period is making me so happy. Thanks also to the DevArt search for finally working so I could find these.
And to my other friends who only have a vague idea of what I'm rambling about, check my favorites gallery for all the new pictures of pretty ladies in multiple layers of clothing. You'll see what I mean. <3
I might highlight some of my favorites here later, we'll see.

Pimping, and other stuff

First and most importantly, I must direct you all to a picture my lovely friend drew of Suetsumuhana! n.n I think some of the Genji-fans I met when I went around looking for Genji fanart might still be around, so they should go see. [link]
I love somuch~ <3 <3 <3 <3
Ahem, anyway, that gushing done, back to business.
I've completely failed on my plan to write things this summer. I did write a few paragraphs of this thing between two of my vampires, Sophronius and Chaucer (literary name!) one night when I was working, but that's all. I may try to start it now that I've remembered; I may try to mentally whack myself into I get some stuff done, but who really knows? We'll see.

Devious Journal Entry

Tue Apr 19, 2005, 2:38 PM
So, I wrote at least one thing. We'll see if I can keep that up. When I actually do make myself write I seem to churn out a lot in one sitting, so I'm thinking I should try to do that more often, whether what is produced is any good or not. People say you should devote a certain amount of time a day to doing just that, but said people are A) probably not university students with full course loads and B) don't understand that there are moments of inspiration and moments of nothingness, and you can't schedule the moments of inspirations for when you want them.
However, my goal this summer is to put out at leas a short piece a week. Since I won't have classes and I think I'll have time to write during my job maybe I can manage that or even more.
